Blackbeard Coin

Captain Edward Teach (Blackbeard) was probably the most notorious pirate to ever roam the ocean. His short career was quite prosperous, capturing many ships and treasure. He was finally killed in North Carolina and beheaded. His head was hung in the harbor as a warning to other would be pirates.

This 1 ounce copper coin is made in the USA of .999 pure copper. The front shows one of the only depictions of Blackbeard, with smoke pouring from fuses he had tied in his beard to scare his enemies. The back shows his flag. A skeleton drinking a toast while stabbing a heart.
